Privacy Policy

Success Motors ("we", "us") operates the Success Motors mobile app and website. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with the Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.

Information we collect

Enquiries and requests — your name, phone number, optional email address, the car you asked about, your message and, for viewings or finance requests, your preferred time and finance details (deposit, period).
Account — if you create an account: name, phone number, optional email and a password (stored hashed). Favourite cars you save.
Sales agents — staff accounts (name, work email, phone) and the business records they create (leads, notes, quotations, payments, documents).
Technical — a push-notification token if you enable alerts, and standard server logs (IP address, time).

How we use it

To reply to your enquiries, arrange viewings and test drives, and process finance or purchase requests.
To keep your account and favourites, and to notify you of price drops on cars you saved.
To manage sales, payments, documents and commissions, and to keep our records accurate and secure.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the service (hosting, SMS and notification delivery) and with finance partners if you ask us to process a finance application, or where the law requires.

Retention

Enquiry and sales records are kept as long as needed for business and legal purposes. If you delete your account, your account details and favourites are deleted; enquiries you already sent remain as company records but are no longer linked to an account.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can delete your account in the app (Account → Delete my account) or follow the steps on our account deletion page.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and passwords are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.
